Use the Web Wallet
This guide will walk you through setting up a web wallet.
Get the extension
You will be provided with a .zip
file which contains our web wallet extension binaries, go ahead and download the .zip
file and uncompress it.
Then, follow the instructions below to install the extension on your specific browser.
You will be provided with .zip
files containing extension binary ,for chromium and firefox browser. Download the file for your preferred browser, unpack it and then follow the instructions below to install the extension.
Edge and Opera browser has the same set of steps as other chromium browsers.
Install the extension
- Chrome (based)
- Firefox
Open the extensions page, depending on your browser
Next, on the top right corner, switch the Developer mode toggle to On (right).
Now click on the Load unpacked button, on the top left of the screen.
Choose the Chrome
folder where you uncompressed the .zip
file.
Pin the extension to have it always ready to use.
You are all set to use the wallet.
Create a Wallet
If this is your first time using the Wallet, click on the Create a new wallet button and provide a strong password before proceeding.
In the following screen, click Download or copy the 24 word Secret Recovery Phase to somewhere safe.
Do not share this recovery phrase as having it is equivalent to owning the Wallet.
In the following page, confirm that you have copied the phrase correctly by filling in the gaps in the phrase.
Once you confirm, the main page will open and the Wallet is created.
Connect to a local testnet
See account details
Here you can
- copy the account's address to share or use in contract calls
- to export a private key to use in the CLI, for example to Deploy an Applet.
